Stash Report 7/18/10

Not a real productive week for stash busting but did pull fabric for pillowcases. Now need to cut them and sew them so I can report them out of my stash. I am trying to finish my oldest UFO. Did make progress on it last week but not enough to show it on design wall Monday.

I finally have something on my design wall to show. It was from a mystery class I took at Huston in 2007. Since I will be going again, I am determined to get it done before I go. At first I didn't like it but it's starting to grow on me.

Cat Designer Grocery Bag

I was asked to make a Designer Market Bag for my sister to make as a gift. Here is the before and after pictures.

Things are getting done

I haven't taken many pictures lately but I am getting things finished. I started a quilt challenge for next April and the top is done. I need a class sample and the top now completed, as is a thread catcher. Plus working on a pair of slippers and a pair of socks that are coming along nicely.

Found My Sewing Machine

After a month or so of not sewing I spent some quality time with my machine this week. I had to do some embroidery labels, finish up a gift, worked on my Uncle's quilt and even made a name tag for my quilt guild. I also got a quilt back made and three others ready to go to the quilters. So not a bad week. Need to spend more time finishing up projects.

Stash Report 2/7/2010

I missed last weeks were I only used 3 yards. This past week was worse as I used nothing. I did learn to knit socks and have been having fun.
